Al via la prima edizione del Webfest Berlin, festival tedesco dedicato alle webserie che si terrà a Berlino il 4 e il 5 settembre.
Il web si muove rapidamente, anzi corre, va veloce, spesso troppo veloce. E, se si ha un’idea, un progetto, bisogna metterlo in pratica prima che lo faccia qualcun altro. Chi fa webserie lo sa bene e, ancora meglio, lo sanno i festival webseriali che vogliono appunto dare ai videomaker la possibilità e lo spazio per esprimere le loro idee e il loro talento il prima possibile. Tra questi festival c’è anche il nuovo Webfest Berlin, festival tedesco alla sua prima edizione, il cui sipario si alzerà domani, 4 settembre 2015 e, per due giornate, presenterà il mondo webseriale alla città di Berlino.
Tutti sappiamo quanto il web abbia rivoluzionato il mondo dei creativi, dando loro l’opportunità di esprimere il proprio talento in maniera completamente libera, e con la possibilità di avere una visibilità potenzialmente globale. I festival di webserie, tra cui anche il neonato Webfest Berlin, mirano proprio a mettere in mostra, nel mondo offline, il lavoro e le esperienze di questi creativi indipendenti, cercando di creare anche fuori dal web uno spazio di forte risonanza,
Durante le due giornate (4 e 5 settembre) del festival, ci saranno incontri, approfondimenti, forum, proiezioni e, ovviamente, la premiazione delle webserie (momento principe e cuore pulsante di ogni festival a premi) che la giuria decreterà vincitrici tra le 42 in concorso. Tra queste produzioni provenienti da tutto il mondo, sventolano orgogliose anche quattro bandiere italiane: Elba – L’Eredità di Napoleone, Let Me Out, Milano Underground e Saturday Night Fathers.
I premi che verranno assegnati saranno in totale dieci e comprendono: il Grand Jury Award, il Best Comedy, il Best Drama, il Best Sci-Fi Fantasy, il Best Horror/Thriller/Suspense, il Best Animation, il Best Non-Fiction, il premio Best Transmedia Project, il Best in Germany e il premio Audience Favorite.
