A web fest is a powerful tool, that can connect people who otherwise wouldn’t meet, that allows creators to learn from each other, that brings opportunities and that pushes the good ideas.

Nel corso degli anni, i festival sono diventati spazi importanti per il fenomeno webseriale, manifestazioni che non solo portano offline le webserie e danno visibilità ai creativi e alle loro opere, ma sono anche occasioni culturali di incontro, confronto e approfondimento. Aspetto importante dei festival di webserie è lo spirito di collaborazione e networking che si è consolidato negli anni, creando una consolidata rete di scambio e incontro webseriale.
Questa sezione di World Wide Webserie ha come obiettivo quello di fare ordine, aiutando i festival a raggiungere gli autori di webserie e questi ultimi ad avere un chiaro quadro dei webfest attivi nel mondo.

Web festivals: an essential network for web series
In these years, web series festivals have become important for the phenomenon; these exhibitions bring offline the web series, giving visibility to them and their creators. Moreover web fests are also occasion for meeting, comparing and in-depth analysis of the web series community. An important side of the web series festivals is the co-operation and networking spirit, developed through the years, creating a strong network of sharing and meeting for the community itself.
This section of World Wide Webserie has the purpose of helping festivals to reach the web series creators and to help also the authors to have clear idea of all the web series festivals there are out there.

This service (totally free) is still a work in progress and we are still collecting all the info about the web fests, in order to complete the map. So, if you are a web festival and you are not on this map yet, or if you are on it but some information are wrong or missing, please use the button at the end of the page for filling in the apposite Google Form.
